The term '''Islamophobia''' means the fear of Islam. However this term is not in the official Oxford English Dictionary. It's a term made up by the lay people by combining the word "Islam" with the word "phobia".

There are people who do genuinely fear Islam.(regardless of whether the fear is actually justified.) These people are usually non-muslims who perceives Islam or Islamic culture as a threat.

Should do a list of exact fears. ie. Which part of Islam causes fear.

Should do a list of source of fear (media?).
