Rodolfo Valentin is a New York City hairdresser, born June 22, 1956 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His works include the hair infusion, a technique to add length, color and volume to the existing hair. The hairstyles created by Rodolfo Valentin originates in hair coloring, healthy hair and a tailored haircut.

In his native Buenos Aires, he has worked with Argentine celebrities such as Nelida Roca, Maria Concepcion Cesar, Susana Gimenez, Nelida Lobato,Ambar La Fox, Silvia Legrand, Graciela Alfano, Soledad Silveyra, Patricia Dal and the Italian Sophia Loren, between others.

In 1984, Rodolfo immigrated to Long Island, New York where he opened an upper class beauty salon and started to become known through magazine ads and television shows.

During the 2000s, Rodolfo expanded as he opened his second salon in the fashionable Madison Avenue in New York. The press named him as the New York society hair stylist. Parts of his following are jet set personalities as John Catsimatidis wife: Margo Catsimatidis, Nina Griscom, Susan Hess (wife of the CEO of Hess Corporation), Andrea Stark, Claudia Cohen, and many more.

His expertise has recently been featured in the book dedicated to beauty whos author is the celebrity dermatologist Dr. Doris J. Day M.D.and he is also the recipient of the United States national grand design award.


Despite remaining an upscale hairdresser who caters to the rich and famous, Rodolfo offers free hair prostheses to cancer patients through his Sofia's Hair 4 Health organization.
