Boxers are 'fearless'? Really?
I have had a Boxer in America for going on 11 years, and I have known other Boxer dogs during her lifetime. They were all dogs with great spirit, but the term 'fearless' strikes me as a kind of projection: NO creature on this planet is truly 'fearless' (if they were, they would die out very quickly). 'Fearless' also suggests a sort of shark-like robotic unthinkingness, which again is very different from the quality of the dogs I've known. As intelligent, perceptive creatures, of course they fear certain things. For instance, when we were in a mountain chalet getting very close lightning strikes in a summer storm, my dog decided that storms were dangerous and she henceforth took to a closed room or hideaway when a mere rainfall became something more. That is the intelligent response of an animal that knows what might be called rational fear: she perceived danger and attempted to evade it (with our loving kindness to help, needless to say!). All anecdotes aside, I assert that 'brave' may be true but 'fearless' is not a scientific or accurate description. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:702:2:7140:910B:B13D:8CDA:5CFD (talk) 00:42, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Clarification under "Temperament" section
"Boxers are generally more comfortable with companionship, in either human or canine form."
More comfortable than what? 2602:306:C5F5:9990:207E:6ED2:B08F:9B94 (talk) 12:36, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
Would it relate to temperament if a boxer has an ulcer type sore on one paw and so chews her other ones as well? Seekingthe news (talk) 09:13, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

Puppies are dogs.
Since puppies are dogs, then saying "dogs and puppies" is either like saying that puppies aren't dogs—which, of course, they are—or the redundancy of "dogs and dogs." So I propose a rewording from "puppies and dogs" to just "dogs," because by definition, the word "dog" is inclusive of all ages. Or in other words, old or young age is not specified by "dog" like it is by "puppy." (And to say just say "puppies and dogs" is like saying "puppies, and... some other species of animal," which is obviously not correct. But my edit was reverted, so I came here to discuss.
Thanks to anyone who understands this concept correctly and is willing to help form a consensus towards this correction by restoring, or supporting the restoration of, my editions to this effect. However, if editors absolutely feel the need to still be specific for some odd reason even though this article includes puppies with adult dogs, then let's correct the error in the more specific way by saying "puppies and adult dogs."
