In 2012, Saket Modi teamed up with his friends Vidit Baxi and Rahul Tyagi and started Lucideus. In 2013, Lucideus opened its first office in New Delhi and subsequently, opened the five other offices in Bombay, Bangalore, Boston, Palo Alto, and New York. Saket’s team has been responsible for the security assessment of the BHIM, an Aadhaar-based mobile payment platform designed by the National Payments Corporation of India and launched by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on 31st December 2016.
In 2017, under Saket's leadership, Lucideus was recognized as a Top IT start-up in the country by the Government of India. At his young age, he has trained more than 5000 students across 75 plus Colleges, Corporates & Government Departments. He has appeared on many TV news programs including News 18, ET Now, NDTV, Bloomberg Quint Live TV and has spoken on various subject of information security and entrepreneurship at international forums like Mobile World Congress, CeBIT (Germany), Forbes under 30 Global Summit (Boston), Confederation of Indian Industry, Cyber-Tech (Israel), ISACA, TiE, TED (conference), etc. In 2017, Saket was invited at India TV’s show on mobile hacking.
