The Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) is an organization in the United States.
OIAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Iranian-American organization dedicated to the promotion of a free and democratic Iran. Although it enjoys bipartisan support from members fo congress, OIAC itself is a nonpartisan network of Iranian-American societies where different religion and traditions are honored, where people feels safe and able to pursue their individual dreams and aspirations.
We believe the role of the United States and other nations is to support internal struggles within Iran towards these goals. OIAC rejects foreign military involvement in Iran or appeasement of the regime. OIAC serves as a platform for Iranian opposition forces working on human rights issues, and serves as a resource for Iranian community organizations in the United States that want to lend their voices to the call for democratic change in Iran.
