Hello, the source you provided actually says "six feet and a half (two meters)", which is contradictory, and not "six feet six and a half (two meters)" which would have been correct. Instead of reverting me, you had better read it. ] 18:42, 29 December 2006 (UTC) | Hello, the source you provided actually says "six feet and a half (two meters)", which is contradictory, and not "six feet six and a half (two meters)" which would have been correct. Constituent country?
What's with the constant constituent country revert for English people? It's not an official term, and has no specific meaning in this context. A country is just a geographical region, the UK is a country, and so is England. I don't see any purpose in using this term. We need to come to some sort of understanding, so I'd like to know your reasons for the constant change. If you feel strongly about it I don't really understand why you haven't given a good reason for making the change. On a slightly different note, it shouldn't be capitalised, Constituent country but should have a lower case letter constituent country, to do this it is best to pipe it thus ] this is displayed as constituent country, this avoids using redirects. All the best, Alun 10:13, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I think your reasonong is sound, so let's say constituent country then:) Alun 14:21, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Lex Luger
I've already posted it on the Pro Wrestling shoutboard. You should call for a temporary lock on the Lex Luger article due to anon users insisting on beating the dead horse about the video which already ran its course. Duo02 *dilly-dally shilly-shally** 17:59, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
List of famous tall men

- What do you mean by block?Halbared 09:24, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- I can't enter more celebrities into this page anymore. Someone has blocked this page. Pooter-the-clown 09:20, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- The page is protected, the note is Note: This page has been protected so that only established users can edit it. Try again in a few days, also, make sure you read the disclaimer before you add any ppl, and the talk page too.Halbared 09:24, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

- The List of famous tall men should start with 6' 3" because there are also very famous actors like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who stand a half inch under 6' 4". And remember, as I can see from your userpage, you are also a half inch under 6' 4". Wouldn't it better to start this page with 6' 3"? Pooter-the-clown 16:25, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
3RR
You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.Martinp23 18:40, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
I asked for semi-protection for the Andre page, and as a reward I get blocked. Halbared 19:21, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- Misplaced Pages is a collaborative effort for everyone to input valid information and knowledge with respect to certain topics. Andre is NOT your article. Justice is served!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mgwcanam (talk • contribs) 20:43, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- And if you read the talk page and understood it you shall see that the agreed upon version was a collaborative effort, and that I was protecting the result of said effort from a lone vandal who insists on inputting incorrect and POV information. Is that you?:oDHalbared 19:47, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- Excuse me? I only made edits to Andre's height particulars, I do not claim responsibility for the body text, which quite frankly, seems accurate in my opinion. You are a repeat 3RR offender and you need to learn your lesson and accept shared information on a database that is not guaranteed or authorized in any way, as long as it makes sense. Again, this is NOT your article. Your ideas of "incorrect and POV" information are skewed in this context. Andre did have back surgery in '86, and being a specialist in the medical field, I guarantee that he had more than one. Faulty biomechanics in the spine lead to posture problems, which is exactly what Andre had. Case closed. Now when you get "un-blocked", please be compassionate for others who try to make positive alterations to articles on Misplaced Pages.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mgwcanam (talk • contribs) 21:14, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- You're excused if it is not you who is inputting the incorrect and POV info (altho it's interesting to note of the only 4 edits you have made 2 of them are on my talk page:oD). Andre had one dose of back surgery in '86. There is no record I have seen or been shown that he had more than one, until it's cited, its incorrect or POV, and will be removed. Again read the talk, the agreed version was a collaboration and the anon editor rejects this. Learn to accept your own guideline. U are not in a position to guarantee anything, either cite it nor not. And sign your psots, thank you:oDHalbared 20:52, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Protection
Hi - I've fully protected the article for now, as there is an edit war involving an anonymous user and a registered user. The reason for the full protection is dual - to foster discussion and to avoid giving one side of the dispute the upper hand in an argument. Thanks Martinp23 19:00, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
The Rock
Have you read both sources? "The Rock is Walking Tall in films these days and has taken over the mantle from 'big' Arnie as the 'next generation' Action Star. Co-star Michael Clarke in The Scorpion King says, when asked about The Rock: "He's 6'4", 270 lbs. I'm 6'5", 325 lbs. So there's the tale of the tape. End of story!", a height which the Rock has given." also DXRAW 23:31, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
