Richard Quest made his famous debut in the nation of Hungary (known as Magyar to the natives) with the 2004 excessive, relatively uneccesary coverage of the Tsunamis and Tdal Waves across Asia, the South Pacific, and even Africa, according to the ever-reliable Quest.
He captivates viewers all over Eastern Europe as of this 24-7 coverage, which is a new development of December 2004 (the month of the Tsunami). Hungarians especially are drawn to his casual, always-hunched-over style and somewhat humorous facial features. Quest is viewed worldwide but especially in Eastern Europe as a Godsend for his reliable and analytical coverage of old and non-informational news, but he is equally loved for the fact that one can ignore him for hours while simply trying to figure out what his facial expression means.
Questianism is the religion spawning in Eastern and Central Europe devoted to the worship, understanding, interpretation, and reverence of The Quest.
