Early life
Andrew John Hurley (born May 31, 1980 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is most notably the drummer of the Chicago-based alternative rock band Fall Out Boy.
As a child, he considered himself a trouble maker who drank and did not listen to authority. He now leads a straight edge lifestyle, is a vegan as well as being a comic book and video game enthusiast. Andy attended UWM college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and went for a triple major, however it is unknown that he graduated. He has many tattoos that cover his body including one on his chest of a heart with the word mom in the center.
Andy was the last member added to Fall Out Boy.
Career
Hurley joined Fall Out Boy in 2003 after their debut album Evening Out With Your Girlfriend. Fall Out Boy is the fourth band Andy has been in with Pete Wentz.
Hurley was also in Racetraitor, killtheslavemaster, Project Rocket, and The Kill Pill. In 1999, he was a guest drummer on Vegan Reich's "Jihad" EP.
Equipment
Hurley plays C&C Custom drums Sabian cymbals and Vic Firth drumsticks.
Hurley also has glasses.
