The Colorado River is the name of a 894-mile long river in Texas in the United States of America. It flows through Austin and empties into the Gulf of Mexico at Matagorda Bay.

This river should not be confused with the more well-known Colorado River that flows through the Grand Canyon and empties into the Gulf of California.
