The Lynx bus system serves the Orlando, Florida area. Standard one-way fare is $1.25, with free single transfers. Lynx runs the free Lymmo bus in downtown Orlando, connecting many downtown destinations to parking and the new Lynx Central Station.
Additionally, various studies have been made for a Lynx-run light rail system along Interstate 4.
All Lynx buses except for the Lymmo have bike racks on the front, capable of holding two bikes.
Lynx Central Station
The new Lynx Central Station, along Garland Avenue between Livingston Street and Amelia Street, opened November 14, 2004; it is about four times the size of the old station, and in general has a more open feel. The old station was 7 blocks south, on the south side of Central Boulevard, west of the CSX tracks, closer to most downtown destinations but a four-block walk from the Lymmo bus.
