Misplaced Pages

This template combines all the featured article-related templates into one, to reduce clutter on talk pages, and make it less confusing when an article has had multiple FACs, FARs or been demoted and repromoted etc. Peer reviews and WikiProject reviews can also be included.

The parameter currentstatus controls what text appears at the top of the box, a set of parameters of the form |action1= |action1date=|action1link=|action1result=|action1oldid= produces a row in the history section at the bottom of the box.

• action1 can take values FAC (Featured Article Candidate), FAR (Featured Article Review), PR (Peer Review), GAN (Good Article Nomination) and GAR (Good Article Review). If desired, reviews carried out by WikiProjects can also be included with WPR (WikiProject Peer Review) and WAR (WikiProject A-Class Review). This parameter can also take the values BP (Brilliant Prose) and RBP (Refreshing of Brilliant Prose) for articles which were first featured before the current Featured Article system.
• action1date is the date of the end of the process, i.e. the date the article was promoted/demoted/kept etc, or the review closed.
• action1link is the name of the subpage at FAC, FAR or PR. It doesn't matter what you put here for GAN/GAR.
• action1result is the result of the process, and can take values promoted/failed for FAC, kept/demoted for FAR (and RBP) listed/failed for GAN, kept/delisted for GAR and nominated for BP. (Some synonyms for these are also accepted to make the template more fault-tolerant; view the source of {{historyoutput}} for more details.) For PR/WPR/WAR it doesn't matter what you put here, it will just show 'reviewed'
• action1oldid is the revision id of the article at the end of the procedure, i.e. the version which was approved as FA/demoted after FAR/reviewed at PR/listed as GA/delisted after GAR etc. If given, the date in the history will link to this version. If not given, the date is unlinked. (The revision id can be obtained by going to the history tab, clicking on a date to go to an old revision, and taking the number after oldid= in the address bar of your browser.)

action2 up to action10 allow for subsequent FAC/FAR

• currentstatus can take values FAC (Featured Article Candidate), FA (Featured Article), FFAC (Former Featured Article Candidate), FAR (Featured Article Review), FFA (Former Featured Article), GA (Good Article), FGAN (Failed Good Article Nominee) and DGA (Delisted Good Article).
• maindate is the date the article was (or will be) featured on the Main Page, if any. Can accept all date formats, including dates in the future.
• small=yes makes the box smaller
