Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are new Pokémon games to be released for the Nintendo DS. Not much is known about them. The names Diamond and Pearl are currently unconfirmed, although the games have been officially announced by Nintendo.

There is currently only one known new Pokémon who has been added to the game, that being Munchlax, the pre-evolution of Snorlax.

Many people guess what will be in the games. Among the most game fans want is a customizable trainer.

Pokémon Diamond was also the name of an unauthorized bootleg version of the Japanese Game Boy Color game "Telefang".
