American tennis playerArthur Hendrix (born October 7, 1912 in Birmingham, Alabama - April 22, 1988 in Lakeland, Florida) was an American amateur tennis player in the 1930s. Hendrix, who was ranked No. 10 in the United States in 1936, was the singles finalist at the Cincinnati Masters in 1934.
In 1936, he won the singles and doubles titles at the Tennessee Valley Invitational, and was a semifinalist in both singles and doubles in the Southern championships.
Hendrix reached the quarter-finals of the 1940 U.S. Pro Tennis Championship.
