The October 2000 riots is the name given to violent protests by Arab Citizens of Israel at the beginning of the Template:Al Aqsa Intifada. During the riots 13 Arab Citizens of Israel were killed by the Israeli Police. As a result of these riots the Or Commission was established to investigate the causes and police response to the riots.
