Stinky tofu, also known as "chou tofu" (traditional Chinese: 臭豆腐), is fermented tofu (bean curd). As the name suggests, it has a strong odour.

It is used in East Asian cuisine, particularly in Taiwan, where it is a usually found at night markets or roadside stands, or as a side dish in lunch bars.
