West Austin Antenna Farm

Why did you delete the article on the west austin antenna farm? I was just googling for some information about it and there's just bits of heresay and conjecture scattered about reddit but it turns out Misplaced Pages actually had a nice, detailed explanation of it. Xanthochroi

Hi! I noticed your deletion of Xanthochroi. I 'voted' in the discussion just above that one and I noticed this when looking for the outcome of that. I think redirecting to Historical_race_concepts#Thomas_Huxley's_racial_definitions would be a good use for Xanthochroi. Searching for Xanthochroi points to several pages but it is not clear that that one is the one explaining the concept, so the redirect would be helpful for readers, I presume. Deletion of "Arthrex" Article

Hi Explicit! I noticed you deleted the article on Arthrex back in April 2021. When I tried to see what the page looked like, all I could find was just a one-liner about it being a medical device company (so understandable that it got deleted, if that's the case), but I'm just seeking some clarity on the deletion. So my questions are: One, is my observation on its content accurate? Two, was the limited information and content the reason for your deletion (if not, would you mind sharing the basis for deletion)? And three, do you feel the subject has notability or other issues that would make it inappropriate for its own Misplaced Pages article (because I am thinking about researching, writing and (re-)publishing an article on Arthrex, but obviously don't want to waste my time if it seems like the community is against it having its own page). @Wiki Page Polisher: Hi, I actually deleted Arthrex when it became a cross-namespace redirect after the page was moved to Draft:Arthrex. The original article was deleted via proposed deletion by DGG in 2016. I have made a copy of its contents here, where the full deletion rationale can be viewed. Hi, some time ago I pinned several wikipedia pages for a search, but one of this https://en.wikipedia.org/Less-than-whole_citizens has been deleted, honestly I don't remember the content, so I don't contest the motivations original search / duplicate content, but since I don't find it in any cache and I don't remember if I really needed it, if you can copy without restoring it, paste even the simple text in this space, so I note it and then, of course you can delete this answer. G13 issue

Hello, Explicit,

Because you work a lot with G13s and with SDZeroBot's lists, I just wanted to alert you that the current list, User:SDZeroBot/G13 eligible, is not accurate. These drafts are actually not eligible until early September which you would notice when you looked at the page history of the drafts. I don't know if you've noticed but SDZeroBot, which just started operating in September 2020, has a hard understanding that months have a different number of days. So, since February had 28 days, it thinks that August 30th is September 2nd. I've left a note about this with the bot operator, SD0001, but I've told him before about this glitch back in February when the bot skipped three days of reports and it still isn't fixed.

Any way, I thought I'd inform you about this in case you were checking out the SDZeroBot pages. Take care, Liz 01:31, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello, dear administrator, I hope everything is all right with you. The reason I'm writing to you is because I need help on Basil I Misplaced Pages page. Future edits on this page will lead to a war of edits. I will try to explain the situation. The question is about the origin of Basil, which most likely indicates that he was an Armenian, then a Greek, the number of historians who clearly indicate his Armenian origin is much greater than those who say that he was a Greek or a Slavic. I don't want to blame anyone, but I feel that the problem with other editors may be related to the Armenian nationality, otherwise I don't see any other reason why sources provided by me can be removed.

I will indicate those parts of the article that, in my opinion, are written in a manipulative way

1. First, the part where I mentioned that he spoke Armenian fluently, and he had a strong accent in Greek, was removed, moreover, this was mentioned many years ago in the same discussion section on the page. I think that language and accent can indicate and help to understand the origin.
2. “The name of his mother points to a Greek origin on the maternal side”,  I do not agree with this, because historical articles should be based on historian works, and not on instructions and hints provided by users. Since I think this sentence is inappropriate and is manipulative.
3. The general scholarly consensus is that Basil's father was "probably" of Armenian origin I do not agree with this sentence, as there is manipulation and absolute nonsense in it. First, how can we say "scientific consensus" if I have provided more sources in which his Armenian origin is confirmed without any doubt, and secondly, since it is written after his mother's name, it will affect the reader.
4. Norman Tobias / “Tobias, the author of the only dedicated biography of Basil I in English”. part of the origin  is based on the work of Norman Tobias, in which he cannot draw a conclusion about his origin. While other historians pointing to his Armenian origin, are removed and not even considered. moreover, it contains details about Tobias ' experience, for example, he is from the University of Toronto and he is the only one who wrote a biography of Basil in English. I don't think this is correct about the exclusivity of the English language, because I don't think that historians who write or speak different languages are worse or better than Tobias, and if we talk about universities, one of the sources that I provided is connected with Oxford, and the other with the University of Chicago.
5. the user who canceled my edits personally attacked me, saying that " You seem to be just a nationalist troll, arguments are being wasted on you." which leads me to the conclusion that his actions are related to nationality, and not to facts and sources, moreover. She/he is undoubtedly sure that Basil was a Greek, since during our conversation and in the article it was mentioned several times that Basi’l fathers could be partially Armenian, while this is manipulationt, because of the hint that she/he dropped in the article where she/he mentioned his mother's name, and is trying to manipulate by saying that his father could be partially Armenian."
6. Dear administrator, I believe that history should be based on facts and sources, I believe that Misplaced Pages readers deserve to receive objective information, I believe that hints should not be part of an article, I believe that historians should write history, I believe that manipulations should not be part of Misplaced Pages, I believe that articles should not be based on only one historian, I believe in common sense, and if we have more facts and sources about something, Misplaced Pages editors should not contradict them, because then they "want”, That's why I'm asking you to step in and stop future editing wars.Tatul (talk) 09:30, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
