That's quite a collection of DVD and Blu-rays you have, mate! Do you, per chance, have the ancient DVD copy of Species? @Stolengood: I appreciate your willingness to help! It's kind of hard to tell what I'd specifically like to cite since I don't actually have the book, but I'm sure that there must be information in the book that can be used to expand the content of the article. I assume that the book includes extensive information on her experiences with Creature from the Black Lagoon and on how she was denied credit for her design work, so that could be added, and if the book includes information about her early life and childhood, personal and romantic relationships, and post-Creature career, that would be worth adding too. –Matthew - (talk) 16:55, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

@MatthewHoobin: -- I'll have to dive deep to be sure of page numbers for cites, but Milicent Patrick grew up in, of all places, Hearst Castle. Her father, Camille Rossi, was the structural engineer in building large parts of the estate, so his whole family lived on the property for as long as he was employed. @Leschnei: Thank you for reminding me! I've fixed several links which are now no longer listed on the page for what links to "King of the Monsters". It looks like everything else that links to King of the Monsters (the disambiguation page) is either supposed to link there, or is linked from old bot reports or user talk page discussions from years ago. Since the latter categories were active before the page move, do you know if those should be updated to reflect the change? –Matthew - (talk) 13:38, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

I don't think that we have to worry about bot reports or talk pages. There were 15-20 items in the 'what links to King of the Monsters' list a while ago. Adding B-side in Beatles' singles chronologies

Hi. Are you sure B-sides should be included in the infoboxes? I think we only normally include the A-side in the chronology (unless the article is about the song that was the B-side, of course) – at least that's the impression I've long had. @JG66: According to Template:Infobox song, B-sides can be added in instances of double-A-side singles, although it's unclear to me if such things are allowed for non-double-A-side singles. My edits may well have been against guidelines, but I'm not sure. If they are indeed against guidelines, then I may start a wider discussion about whether or not this should be changed. A B-side of a single is still a single, isn't it? I will refrain from further edits until we figure this out. What do you think? –Matthew - (talk) 13:58, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

I'd say that first example at Infobox song says it all: "Other Side" doesn't appear in the chronology, and nor is there a B-side (or other side) given for the other entries in the chronology. Feel free to start a discussion on this, of course. My feeling is it's wrong, from experience; also, it leads to no end of potential problems with the chronologies if B-side's different in various markets. JG66 (talk) 14:09, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

Fair point; thank you for putting it that way. I've reverted my edits to the Beatles articles. What about something like "Bullet" by the Misfits? That single features two songs on the A-side ("Bullet" and "We Are 138") and two songs on the B-side ("Attitude" and "Hollywood Babylon"). Should "Bullet" be listed in the chronology in its infobox as "Bullet", or as "'Bullet' / 'We Are 138'"? Similarly, should "Attitude" be listed in its infobox chronology as "'Attitude' / 'Hollywood Babylon'"? –Matthew - (talk) 14:17, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

Wow, that Misfits example is a weird one. To my way of thinking, it's an EP not a single, and the opening sentences at "Bullet" seem to be confused over that issue anyway. Definitely something to raise at WP Songs or Music, I'd say – I wouldn't have a clue how to deal with those examples (but then I should add that I'm really anti including singles chronologies anyway, eg this discussion). Concerning "EP" and "Single" at Seven Inches of Satanic Panic, the problem is the coding for the infobox, where only one "Type" is allowed. See Category:Album articles with non-standard infoboxes and Template:Infobox album. Chris Chan draft

I noticed you went ahead and created a Chris Chan draft page, and just thought I'd share some thoughts about it.

While I am of the opinion that Chris Chan could certainly meet wp:PERP, the incest allegations are new enough that you will likely face opposition in the form of wp:NOTNEWS. Additionally, you may find opposition in the form of WP:BIODEL, as Chris can be legitimately argued to be a marginally interesting or notable character.

I think it may be wise to have some rebuttals to those points I just raised, and perhaps seek consensus (best way to do so imo would be to contest a deletion; that tends to get uninvolved eyeballs on the page) when the draft comes up for review.

To follow up, I mentioned you because I noticed in the edit history of Draft:Chris Chan you said you took the text from some other draft. Please note as the template above outlines, when you copy content within Misplaced Pages you need to ensure you properly attribute where you took the content from to comply with our licence terms. Failing to do so is likely a copyright violation if there are other contributors to the text you copied. But also since attribution a deleted page is useless, if the article or draft you took the content from was deleted, you really should get it undeleted before trying to do anything. We need the contribution history or a list of contributors. Anyway, now that you've done it, assuming your draft is kept, you will need to work with some admin (I'm not an admin) to find where you copied the text from and undelete the contribution history or otherwise make a list of contributors available. It may be that the draft is going to be deleted soon enough that this isn't worth the effort, I don't know. Since the draft you created has been deleted, it's no longer a problem. As I said, in future if you need to reintroduce deleted content, you should work for it to be undeleted first. This is particularly important since putting aside the necessary attribution to our fellow contributors, you may not be aware of the full reasoning behind the deleted. You may therefore be reintroducing content which had good reasons for deletion. As I understand it, in this case some draft was suppressed so there was therefore a strong risk you were reintroducing suppressed content. I have no idea if that includes the version you linked to but I've removed your link just in case and will ask for it to be suppressed. Please don't link to it again. As I said, if the content is to be reintroduced here, it will need to be undeleted here rather than copied and pasted from some other backup. The alternative it so start a clean draft without relying on any content which was deleted. Changing the name of a decade section on horror film

Dear Matthew I have a request for you can you change the name of the 1970s–1980s section into the 1970s and 1980s section on horror film the decade sections need to look better like this.
