To move some text or other element lower than its usual position. Can be useful e.g. to position <ref>erence links (footnote links) appearing in tables without any preceeding text (cf {{Infobox Ethnic group}}, List of people known as father or mother of something).

The optional parameter offset specifies how far the text is to be moved downward (default 4px).
