Gopichand Kundalik Padalkar (born 1982) is an Indian politician. He is a membdr of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a member of Maharashtra Legislative Council. He got elected to the Legislative Council by MLA's (unopposed) on 14 May 2020. Previously he was in Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. He joined BJP before the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Elections.

He was born to Kundlik and Hiramaai padalkar family of Padalkarwadi, Sangli district. His father Kundlik Padalkar was a primary teacher. Gopichand Padalkar belongs to Dhangar community from Maharashtra,
Career
He started his political career on 6 December 2006 from Rashtriya Samaj Paksha under the inspiration of Mahadev Jankar. He contested Maharashtra Assembly election in 2009 from Rashtriya Samaj Paksha u and got 20,000 votes.
In 2012 he joined Bhartiya Janata Party and contested 2014 assembly election from Atpadi-Khanapur constituency. On 1 August he experienced some differences on the question of the Dhangar community reservation with BJP and left the party.
In March 2019 he joined Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and contested Sangali Lok Sabha seat. He gave tough fights to Sanjaykaka Patil and Vishal Patil by getting 300,234 votes.
After that he rejoined BJP in October 2019 when BJP submitted in court that Dhangar and Dhangad were a single caste. He unsuccessfully contested Lok Sabha Elections from Sangali Lok Sabha seat in 2019 on Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi ticket. He again rejoined BJP and contested Vidhan Sabha elections from Baramati against Ajit Pawar, where he gave a tough fight only 15 days after declaring his nomination. He lost by 1.5L, so his election deposit was arrested by the election commission.
