Hello it’s Ryan. You’ve just removed everythint real about my life and turned it into one giant skewed negative article and removed everything positive will multiple sources and made it only negative. It’s been 10 years untouched I have never paid anyone and all of a sudden right when Ethan Klein and h3 publically say they are going to destroy my wiki and say exactly what they are going to do (because of a legal matter we have against him) it is done? For 10 years it is untouched but exactly at the time he says the very things he says are changed after 10 years but the most recent relevant multiple sourced positive is not? This is clearly a paid attack campaign it uses the very language he uses and directs to the sources he’s publishing. This cannot be legal, fair or right. Please I implore you. I. Spent half my life on charity and you just removed every award or charity I worked on despite sourced directly from the charities? ] (]) 16:28, 23 November 2021 (UTC) |

Draft:Bankroll Freddie
Hi,
I saw you did a load of work to Draft:Bankroll Freddie and added comments for reviewers - so did you not mean to submit it?
Regards KylieTastic (talk) 17:55, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- @KylieTastic: I wasn't sure if I should submit, since it's so close to when it was last rejected (it's only been about a day since it was rejected 3 times in a row), so I was waiting for more time to pass, honestly. But with your comment, I've decided to go ahead and bite the bullet :) It's submitted now. - Whisperjanes (talk) 19:18, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- I didn't actually do a full review but it was clearly a decent attempt at showing notability so definitely worth a punt and 1000% more decent than the initial submit I reviewed. With historical politicians I will do the digging and expand there minimal submits, but modern bios aren't my thing so thanks for the effort regardless if it's an accept or decline. Good effort should always be appreciated. The only thing I would say form a quick look is the expanded discography certainly makes them look possible more notable, but the unsourced items could do with a source. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 19:31, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- @KylieTastic: Thanks! It's always nice to be reminded that effort is appreciated, even if it doesn't make it to mainspace. And I'll add those sources to the discography now. - Whisperjanes (talk) 20:08, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- and effort is not also appreciated but also gets results :) KylieTastic (talk) 22:28, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello,
This is Lizbet1 (Paola Curcio-Kleinman) - I am the head of Public Relations for the NYU School of Professional Studies and have been trying to fix gross in accuracies on the NYU School of Professional Studies Misplaced Pages page. There are a large number of department and degree programs that no longer exist, names of departments that are incorrect and blatant mistakes about the audience the School is now serving. It seems that I have made the edit and they have all been reverted back. I am not being paid to make these edits. The information is totally incorrect and I would be remiss in my duties to allow it to remain that way. In addition, the errors in current degrees and programs offered could be a problem in our academic standing with the state. Is there something else I need to do to make these edits? Yes, I think that's probably a better way to do things - given that "its" keeps on being mis-read. I'm not entirely sure about there being two schools in the sentence, but I can't think of a better way to do it. So, thanks - much appreciated. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:03, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Blue Square Thing: Oh good, I'm glad it helped. Yeah, writing "school" twice in a sentence wouldn't be my first pick either, but apparently it was confusing enough for a few readers/editors. And thanks for the edits you've done so far on the article :) - Whisperjanes (talk) 17:05, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
Emma Jane Wilson
Thanks for all your help Whisperjanes. If you get a chance and have the inclination, could you see what a newspaper search turns up for Emma J. Wilson / Emma Jane Wilson / E. J. Wilson of Mayesville, South Carolina (Draft:Mayesville Industrial and Educational Institute)? FloridaArmy (talk) 13:09, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- @FloridaArmy: Ohhh she seems very interesting. I'm taking a look now and I'm finding a few things - it might just take me a few days to add them all to the article :) - Whisperjanes (talk) 01:43, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Awesome. She seems like a force of nature. And quite a few photos of her and the school. I wonder why she isn't better known? I also wonder whybshe stsrted her own school??? Goodwill Parochial School and I think others as well were innthe area. Glad you also found her story interesting. FloridaArmy (talk) 03:34, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, she was quite the leader. She seemed to single-handedly keep the school afloat, running around the country and raising funds. At least one source I saw said she traveled to a different state just to learn brick-making (or brick-laying?), because she wanted to know how to better teach the boys at her school. I wonder if she shouldn't have a separate article? I'm not sure how much to include about her in the school's article; it seemed like she did a lot of things outside of her official school-principal duties (although most of what she's known for is her work for the school), but it is harder to find info on what she did/her life outside of the school. - Whisperjanes (talk) 04:01, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- I would include as much as you can on her. When it is too much we can split her off innher own entry. It always makes me shake my head that I'm pushed to merge and told subjects aren't independly notaboe and when I work on a combined entry I'm told it isn't clear which subject it's about. Then there's the perennial the entry should be about their work and not the person and vis versa. Smh. Wouldn't be much of a school without her and I'm not sure how notable she'd be without the school? Chicken and egg stuff. Thanks for your efforts. I am enjoying reading more about her from what you've uncovered and I hope others will as well. I need to add back content I inckuded that was misguidedly removed.. Party on. Draft:Nancy Elizabeth Wallace
Was it you who was interested in female children's book authors? I haven't gotten far in investigating coverage or determining if she's notable, but I've enjoyed what I've read so far of her work. FloridaArmy (talk) 03:34, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- @FloridaArmy: Oh yes! I love children's book authors and illustrators. I'll definitely take a look at her - her cutout illustrations look very cute (and from a quick Gale Literature glance, it seems like she might have enough reviews to pass WP:AUTHOR). - Whisperjanes (talk) 03:51, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

RE COI Disclosure on Campaign Legal Center's Page
@Whisperjanes: Thank you for your pointer on disclosing COI for the Campaign Legal Center page! I am new to the Misplaced Pages community, and I am still learning a lot about the various forms and rules. My user page now says, "This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by CAMPAIGN LEGAL CENTER for their contributions to Misplaced Pages."
- @Frida Fresca: You're welcome! It can be really tricky to learn the different policies and things to do when you're new to editing Misplaced Pages, so no one expects perfection from new editors. So far, you've been following the COI/paid guidelines pretty well, so thanks for taking the extra time to do all of that. And feel free to ask questions if you need any help :) - Whisperjanes (talk) 22:08, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

- Hi Whoisjohngalt! Thanks for adding some categories and your help. I'm a bit confused by your suggestion, however, so I ask that you please check out WP:LDRHOW or WP:LDR.
- Just to clarify: my citations are still there, just with named references being used instead, and the full references being moved to the bottom. If you look at the article (not in edit view), you'll see that the citations are still formatted normally. I tend to do this with articles I start because it's cleaner when editing the article later. Could you please revert your last two edits on the article, or let me know what you think? Thanks! - Whisperjanes (talk) 17:12, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was not familiar to the citation style. All fixed now. Peace.Whoisjohngalt (talk) 17:26, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Whoisjohngalt: No worries! And thanks :) I wasn't familiar before either - I only started using it because another user suggested it to me to improve my articles, because they said it made the body of the article look cleaner. - Whisperjanes (talk) 18:02, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
