infobox fix

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/I-League_2nd_Division

user arnab made few order mistakes with added logo, please fix — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.0.180.101 (talk) 23:16, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

i mean, he added second logo / caption at the bottom and without space (=), also sentence mentioning pandemic-new name lacks linking and got grammar error.

You can request them about the change at their talk page. I merely added a template to the page. I don't know anything about that league. (CC) Tbhotch 23:43, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

it is technical part, not needed league knowledge. i did it already and didnt listen. so hoping users who protected can fix before opened again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.0.180.101 (talk) 23:56, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

If this is your comment, it is a vague comment (which logo, which league, where's the WP:vandalism). And I say that I don't know about that league because it starts with: "The I-League 2nd Division (or Hero I-League 2nd Division for sponsorship reasons)", so both logos are technically correct. What's not correct is that both are placed in the infobox, but then again, I don't know which logo should be moved down. So that's why I would say that you ask them explicitly and with clarity what you want them to do. (CC) Tbhotch 00:08, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

i meant maybe you usually fix GRAMMAR errors (both infobox and text have some), made by arnab who doesnt understand and i cant fix while locked. part of pandemic and infobox ORDER. anyway thanks, will get solution. (always better block instead of lock in such cases.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.0.180.101 (talk) 01:22, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

DYK for Monumento al perro callejero

On 14 August 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Monumento al perro callejero, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Peluso implores your help? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Monumento al perro callejero. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Monumento al perro callejero), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:03, 14 August 2021 (UTC)

you're very welcome

it was a pleasure to help clean up the english on the 'peluso' page. i've spent a lot of time in mexico and having grown up in the states it often saddens me to see how cruel people can be to stray dogs in la república, so thank you for getting the article into 'did you know'. i often find myself fixing typos in DYK articles, and it would of course be better to fix them before they went up: if you want to pass any to me before they go up please do. i will attempt to create a talk page for myself as i imagine it would facilitate communicating with me. thanks again,--Potholehotline (talk) 22:59, 17 August 2021 (UTC)

Not neutral?

Just wondering how stating a fact, "Italy are the reigning European Champions" is not neutral POV. They won Euro 2020, which makes them the reigning champions at least until Euro 2024 (if they don't win that competition). Moreover, the France national team are described as "reigning world champions" in their article. What's the difference?

If anything, refusing this language, which is both neutral on its face and neutral in fact, and is indeed a fact, is not neutral POV. Do I really need to cite a source saying that Italy are reigning European Champions even though there are several sources cited in the same article that state that Italy won Euro 2020? Do I need to point out the plethora of news sources that described Portugal as the "reigning European champions" going into Euro 2020? I mean if that's your issue, I'm happy to add a source stating that Italy are the reigning European champions. Otherwise, I don't understand your reversion at all.

In fact, I've gone ahead and readded the language, but citing to a reliable, neutral source which states that: "Italy will go as reigning European champions". Neutral POV from a reliable, cited source (CBS Sports). Take a look at it if you like, but it's there. 24.178.111.153 (talk) 14:53, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

DYK for Tlalli

On 25 September 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Tlalli, which you recently nominated. List of public art in Guadalajara

If you're aware of any helpful sources with artist/date info for expanding entries about the artworks mentioned at List of public art in Guadalajara, please let me know! Another editor dislikes that I've created these unsourced stubs based on the Commons categories, so any help is much appreciated. Thanks, ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:34, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

Ok. (CC) Tbhotch 21:52, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
Great! Looking forward to collaborating. I've already been following to archive sources and make other minor improvements. Thanks for helping, ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:56, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
@Another Believer: All but one done. I couldn't find info about the Statue of José Clemente Orozco at Guadalajara, just about another statue in a neighboring municipality, but nothing relevant. (CC) Tbhotch 18:08, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Tbhotch Thank you! I see Orozco's at the Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres, so perhaps this source helps? (See also: Talk:Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres) ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:39, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
Yes, I found that the statue is there, but that's all the available information about it. (CC) Tbhotch 19:50, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Also, not really sure what's up with the editor re: Tlalli and the roundabout. (shrugs) Great work on these articles, I hope you're able to promote them to Good article status once the fate of Tlalli and the roundabout are determined! ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:31, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

Tlalli is deliberately incomplete. I merely added the most relevant info that the DYK required. I haven't included the public and artistic reception ("the Wakanda monument"), as I'm still waiting for its installation or its official cancellation to complete the article. If it is canceled (for me as a writer) is the best thing that could happen as I will not have to write more information and it will be stable. (CC) Tbhotch 22:43, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

Are you able to find any info about the statue of José Clemente Orozco at Plaza José Clemente Orozco, just east of Minerva Roundabout? ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:37, 20 November 2021 (UTC)

I can't even find info about the plaza. (CC) Tbhotch 18:58, 21 November 2021 (UTC)

Two lighthouses in Puerto Vallarta

Faro del Malecón

Hi again! Curious if you think the lighthouses Faro de Matamoros and Faro del Malecón in Puerto Vallarta should have articles? I would think so, but I'm not seeing much English-language sourcing. Would you be willing to do a quick search for Spanish-language sourcing? Thanks either way! ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:45, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

@Another Believer: I found a few sources. They seem to be beacons rather than lighthouses—although they are colloquially known as such. The one pictured seems to be a leading lights beacon, while the one at Matamoros Street (and apparently there is another somewhere else) is a "situational" (literal translation) beacon. (CC) Tbhotch 01:29, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
Cool! Would you be interested in creating new stubs for these? ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:38, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
I don't know anything about lighthouses. You might ask about this at WP:WikiProject Lighthouses because I've seen the Category:Stub-Class Lighthouses articles and you can see that everything there ends with "Light"/"Lighthouse". Also, if it is better to create an article for each or as a whole, because they are not even listed at List of lighthouses in Mexico. (CC) Tbhotch 01:46, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
I feel like we can only describe the structures as sources allow. If you're willing to link to some sources, I can try to get a sense of how much coverage each has received and attempt some English translations, if applicable, or at least share with WikiProject Lighthouses. ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:14, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
Took a first stab at one: Matamoros Lighthouse ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:52, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
Matamoros (Matamoros and Galeana Streets): Establishment and disestablishment; restoration; passing mention of Malecón's, disestablishment; passing mention of Malecón's; status as a landmark, current status (as of April 2021), current status (as of November 2020) (I guess it's the same basing myself on the pictures); about it, but nothing truly relevant, minor painting jobs in 2017, about it, but it's just blogesque information, mentions it, but it's just already said info
Malecón (Galeana and Morelos Streets): about it, indirectly describes Matamoros', PDF page 330, about it, passing mention of Matamoros',
Coronoa(?): Allegedly this is the third one mentioned by this source, but the beacons are never named, I can't even confirm if it still exists or where. This source briefly mentions an observation deck along Corona Street (this is the full report on its status), but I can't see a beacon or lighthouse. This one mentions that there were three of them, but that it was later adapted (like Matamoros) as an observation deck on a mountain (like Matamoros).
BTW this is deliberate. (CC) Tbhotch 04:09, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
Thanks!, I'll take a look at what you've compiled. Much appreciated, ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:10, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
Your stub pretty much summarizes every link about Matamoros' technical stuff. (CC) Tbhotch 04:11, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. What title do you think would be most appropriate for the Malecón structure? Malecón Lighthouse? Faro de Malecón? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:03, 24 October 2021 (UTC)

What is so wrong about my edit?!

Excuse me I don't get why I can't post this image. I found this image and thought it was nice to use in the article please let me use it. Have a nice day.

Something odd

The template for contents of the article is deleted in a lot of articles, i don't know why, hence my frenetic activity of reversing last edits, wich seems to fix the problem.

Snarcky1996 (talk) 21:24, 5 November 2021 (UTC)

No, i am aware of the hide function, it's not that, the template disappeared entirely on some articles, not all, for me at least, but no it's not the hide function.

Snarcky1996 (talk) 21:30, 5 November 2021 (UTC)

okay then, i'll ask technical support.

Guadalajara light rail system

I see you work on light rail entries sometimes. Should the Guadalajara light rail system stations have entries? I assume so, since there are redlinks, but I figure you might be more familiar with notability requirements. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:48, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

@Another Believer: At the moment I'm only focusing on the CDMX Metro (because there are around 170 stations and I've only written like 20 articles). I tried looking for those of the Xochimilco Light Rail system, which also lack individual articles that exist in other wikis like .es and .pt. However, I couldn't find real information about them and the external versions are merely about the stations' locations. For the one in Guadalajara, if you read Refugio railway station and Juárez railway station you will see that they don't meet the WP:GNG criteria. However (again), I've seen several stations from multiple systems around the world that look like that. Maybe some are notables, maybe some others are not, I can't tell if they would survive an AFD. Even some of the CDMX Metro were redirects at some point due to the lack of sources. (CC) Tbhotch 03:06, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Very helpful, thanks! So I'm not bugging you on your talk page so often, I hope you have WikiProject Mexico on your watchlist so you can see when I've created new entries. You've been so helpful adding more info to new stubs, thanks again! ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:11, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
@Another Believer: There's no problem. For WP:Mex, I think the project is inactive. It's not tagged as such because it still receiving messages and replies, but the members are inactive. (CC) Tbhotch 03:21, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
I see. Well, I hope you're able to check in on the new stubs being created when you have time. I am loving Guadalajara and have also visited Tlaquepaque and Zapopan. Happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:28, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Help me move a page

Can you please move 2019–2021 Iraqi protests back to 2019–2020 Iraqi protests? The page was moved without a discussion if you go through the history and reflects things that weren’t apart of the topic 85.107.226.164 (talk) 09:13, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

A request was asked here. (CC) Tbhotch 14:22, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

Antimonumenta

Based on your work on the Women Who Fight Roundabout, I wonder if you think there should be an article about this one as well. There are quite a few images here. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:34, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

All the works listed at es:Anexo:Antimonumentos are notables on their own. (CC) Tbhotch 21:38, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
Thanks, would Antimonumenta be the best title? ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:44, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
Provisionally, yes, as it is the sole topic. However there is another one in Mexico City and the concept itself is the primary topic. (CC) Tbhotch 01:27, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. I have no problem with moving the page if/when another article is created about the concept or the monument in CDMX. ---Another Believer (Talk) 05:54, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
Also, I'm hoping you can create an article for the red bench in Guadalajara if there's enough sourcing. I see the bench is still installed next to the rotunda. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:14, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
I was thinking to create a super DYK for March 8, like "did you know that antimonumentas in Mexico, like W, X, Y and Z are erected to demand justice for the victims of gender violence and femicides in the country?" or something appropriate for these cases. (CC) Tbhotch 01:37, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
Would be great to see a DYK hook about this list on the Main page. I'm trying to learn more about the red bench in Guadalajara, but I'm not finding much by searching "Banca Roja". I'll assume this is not an official title, like the list's Notes section suggests, but I'm curious if you think there's enough coverage for a separate article. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:56, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
Yes, there's enough content for them, even for the one thas was installed yesterday in Oaxaca City. As you might have seen with the WWF Roundabout, these are merged into the people's life and make them part of the city. I've even seen sources calling the Columbus Roundabout the WWF Roundabout. Once the Young Woman is installed, the roundabout will be readopted by the city, but the cultural impact is never removed. (CC) Tbhotch 22:43, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
Might you be willing to create a new stub with good sources for the red bench in Guadalajara? ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:14, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
I'll create drafts instead, so I don't have to worry if someone AFD them. It's less stressing for me as readers are not affected by incompleteness. (CC) Tbhotch 02:51, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

A cup of coffee for you!

Thanks for the review - I gave the pic a different license to clear up the doubt and I took the opportunity to add a couple more. Could you reconsider the doubt on the license. Fine if you are still unsure. Cheers. Victuallers (talk) 09:05, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

This Is It (concert residency)

Hi @Tbhotch 172.116.32.239 (talk) 05:20, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

Confused about this edit summary you wrote:

Hi, I became confused when you wrote down Misplaced Pages:Long-term abuse/MariaJaydHicky in the edit summary, and it felt like you were saying it to me. I was only reverting unsourced resources from one of the sockpuppets and that was it. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) (contribs) 02:53, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

No, I was referring to the blocked account, but several intermediate edits were conflicting the revert. (CC) Tbhotch 03:40, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

Sort

Hi again! Do you have a moment to make sure the entries at Template:Centro, Guadalajara and Template:Public art in Guadalajara are sorted correctly? I'm not used to sorting names with 2 surnames, so I want to make sure the templates look good. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:53, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for taking a look at the Centro template. The public art template has a few more entries, if you're able to do the same. Happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:17, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

DYK for Food labeling in Mexico

On 9 December 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Food labeling in Mexico, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that an investigation found that most Mexican nutrition science students could not interpret a nutritional front-of-package labeling system correctly? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Food labeling in Mexico. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Food labeling in Mexico), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Interesting

So you told me that if I kept reverting that you would report me. I stopped reverting, however you went ahead and reported me anyway. Why? 2601:48:8100:B6A0:B435:22AF:C973:92A9 (talk) 19:59, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

Historic center of Mexico City

Bicitaxis in mexico city are not common at all, according to UVOtv the most common transportation is 45.2% buses, 24.7% personal car, 21.1% Metro, 12.7% walking, 4.8% Metrobús or Mexibús, 4.3% Taxi, 2.7% bike, 1.5% motorcycle, i see no reason to include bicitaxi as a common transportation method, there for i see no reason to keep this information upKaidros (talk) 01:57, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

bicitaxi

please provide sources that are recent and prove your claims, source number 49 is 6 years old and never states them to be a common form of transport, source number 50 is an unavailable link and source 51 never states or support the claim that it is a common form of transportation, it actually refrences bicitaxis being almost eliminated and says there are trying to come back after many years of being on the decline—Kaidros (talk) 02:09, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
