Hi - just following up on the ANI report. I've asked the other editor on their talk page not to be so in your face with warning templates, and to explain their thinking rather than edit warring; I hope you don't mind if I follow up with a couple of pointers for you too? Basically, Misplaced Pages articles should ideally be based around what independent, reliable sources say about a subject. I know if sounds a bit crazy to call 'watching a gameshow' ], but if you're figuring out the rules by watching the show, that's what you're doing - you're watching what happens, interpreting how the game works, and then writing your interpretation up here - we don't do that. My usual advice to editors is that if you can't find it in an independent, reliable source, leave it out of the article - it doesn't belong. So, yeah - I can see why they reverted you, but they didn't go about it in a very collegiate way. Hope this makes sense, let me know if you have any questions. Your ANI report

I know if sounds a bit crazy to call 'watching a gameshow' original research, but if you're figuring out the rules by watching the show, that's what you're doing - you're watching what happens, interpreting how the game works, and then writing your interpretation up here - we don't do that. My usual advice to editors is that if you can't find it in an independent, reliable source, leave it out of the article - it doesn't belong. So, yeah - I can see why they reverted you, but they didn't go about it in a very collegiate way. Hope this makes sense, let me know if you have any questions.
