Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (MOHAA) is a first-person shooter (FPS) computer game by Electronic Arts. The game, based on the Quake III Arena engine, simulates infantry combat in the European Theater, during World War II. The title derives from the notion that the likelihood of completing the game's missions, in real-life, would be about as likely as earning the Medal of Honor, perhaps even less likely. Single player missions include assaulting Algiers in North Africa, and storming the beaches of Normandy on Omaha Beach through machine gun fire. There is an expansion pack named Spearhead, which includes scenarios as an Easy Company paratrooper on D-Day and on into Ardennes, and combat with Soviets in Berlin.

Zampella says, "The gameplay is very chaotic."
