: It isnt nice to call someone "Russian boy", the editor has a name, you can use that if you want to address him directly, but he is right, you should read about wiki-pedias rules for links, they are here: ] ] 20:51, 25 February 2007 (UTC) | |||

Changes
I've made some "minor" changes. --Criterium 11:18, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- 1. 'Native name' is for native (Russian, Moldavian, Ukrainian) names. You should've noted the English name is also present.
- 2. capital of Transnistria is Tiraspol; it does not have to do anything with recognition
- False. For Moldova, Tiraspol is only the capital of the Tiraspol raion (or whatever its name). RSSM did not have a Transnistria region. Dpotop 13:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- The de-facto independent PMR considers Tiraspol to be its capital. This should be reflected in the article.Alaexis 14:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have to agree with Dpotop here. The article is clear that Transnistria is a breakaway territory and not internationally recognized. However, that does not mean that the Transnistria cannot have a 'capital' in the meaning "center of government". Regards Osli73 19:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- 2 times FALSE. --Criterium 14:46, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

- 3. leader of the de-facto PMR is called president; again it does not have to do anything with recognition
- False. Dpotop 13:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- True. Alaexis 14:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- A compromise solution might be to call him 'president' rather than President. Again, it is quite clear from the intro that Transnistria is not recognized by the intl. community. CheersOsli73 19:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- 2 times FALSE. --Criterium 14:46, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- True. Alaexis 14:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- False. Dpotop 13:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- 4. The date of de-facto indpendence is relevant info and should be included; it's written in the next line that PMR's independence is not recognised
- False. What is important is the date where they declared it. Dpotop 13:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't understand you (especially the 'date where they declared it' words). Alaexis 14:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- 2 times FALSE. --Criterium 14:46, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with Dpotop, it would be neutral to just state "...declared independence on...". Cheers Osli73 19:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

- 5. PMR is an unrecognised
countrystate and Transnistria article should be in the corresponding list.- Cool. Do you have decent sources calling Transnistria an unrecognized country? Dpotop 13:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- If there is such a Misplaced Pages list as "Unrecognized states" then Transnistria would certainly belong there. I don't see any reason to have to source this since it is a given if you accept that it is not internationally recognized (which, since it doesn't have a seat in the UN or is recognized by the Council of Europe). Osli73 19:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have no intention of arguing about the 'unrecognised state' term. It is accepted in the wikipedia for such situations as far as I know. Alaexis 14:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, no "state" now but only "region".--Criterium 14:55, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Cool. Do you have decent sources calling Transnistria an unrecognized country? Dpotop 13:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- 6. There is no reason to remove the pictures of the House of Parliament and of Suvorov. The first one is undoubtedly relevant; there was a dispute about the second one and it was decided to keep that image(iirc)
- 7. Human rights issues in PMR do not amount to russification. Alaexis 13:39, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed. It's slavization plus separatism. Dpotop 13:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I will make all the changes according to this. --Criterium 14:42, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- This is a controversial page, everyone here is always fighting, you can see the message on the top of the page and you can also see how many archives there are, it is not a good idea to make changes if others dont agree or if you dont discuss first, at least not big changes, so maybe it is best to wait until the others have a chance, otherwise it is vandalism o.k. and like Ive done in the past Im forced to revert you, sorry.
- but the problem is that you say ' 'I will make all the changes according to this' ' and dont wait for others or their opinion, you maybe dont know this, but the page is the work of dozens of people over dozens of months Pernambuco 14:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- So, let's see what do you have against my changes? Point our your issues. before revert..--Criterium 15:00, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- It is this: You should propose your changes here, then see what others think, let a discussion develop, and wait some days, then if a people mostly agree and dont disagree, make the changes. you dont do this, and we have seen this before, it is a man called Bonaparte who also goes under other names, such as Pirates of the Pacific. Every time he comes, he acts like you, then we revert him, and one time I even got blocked for this because Mariusm reported me. Here, among the editors, Mariusm is the only one who supports this kind of behavior, everyone else thinks it is vandalism to act so agressive like this. but the administrators found out that it was vandalism and then the rule for 3-RR doesnt apply, and my block was immediately lifted. If you cant discuss your changes I must just revert you, and Im willing to risk a block for that, because it is the same kind of behavior as before Pernambuco 15:08, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- You're funny Pernambuco. Listen to yourself: I've been blocked, but it's the other who were guilty. And the Bonaparte the Pirate bit is quite epic. :):):) Dpotop 15:20, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, that's what happened... 'Buco was fighting the "BonnieGirl" and got reported by Marius. . It's really a shame that Marius works better in tandem with Bonaparte, than with most of the other regulars here. --Illythr 20:35, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Guys, you are engaging in a dispute over yet another bunch of "Corsican" edits. Bad idea, that. A routine block report is all that is necessary in this case. --Illythr 15:05, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I like the "Corsican" bit. Where does it come from? :)I got it. Dpotop 15:16, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

- Take it easy, Criterium. I made the same mistake on start editing. Even if I have almost the same opinion with you, here are some experienced guys with a lot of editing. We should first agree about the subject. But..let me protest again about Mauco changes from 02:06, 21 February 2007. Anyway...Welcome!! -Catarcostica 16:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
New Changes
can somebody explain why is alaexis keep undo my posting on the mainpage? if there is no link about investigative stories about Transnistria, why was my post deleted? I understand that a russian doesen't want critical posts about transdniester but this wkipedia section is for international use - is not even the russian version of wikipedia.
- You should've noted that not only I have reverted your contributions. They are highly pov imo, besides in wikipedia you don't just put links in the article and say that all the interesting info is there. Alaexis 19:27, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
define "pov imo" . they are journalistic articles. so, please be so kind and tell me where to post links to an interesting serie of investigative stories on transdnniester. done on the field by journalists living in the area. could you give me similar examples to those articles, russian boy? or could you give me an example of a similar investigation into transdniester?

Stop editing your crap into this page, I don't care if it is recognized or not. Many people refuse to recognize Israel, so should that page be vandalized in the way that you are doing? Knock it off. Johnx4
