There's a clear double standard here on Misplaced Pages; would we create an article for "List of defunct media in the United States due to it being fake news?" Just look at all the blatant misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The vitriol directed towards specifically China is quite unwarranted, to say the least. This is real life, not a game of what-a-moley. This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

  • {{Censorship in China|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
  • {{Censorship in China|state=expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
