== Naming of the Republic of Macedonia ==
Hi. I reverted the change you made at ], in which you changed the name of the Republic of Macedonia to "Skopje".

You may not be aware that you hit a hot-button issue here — something which has been dealt with in the past by our ]. See ], which describes the accepted naming conventions for referring to the Republic of Macedonia in Misplaced Pages articles. Briefly, we are to call this country "Macedonia" — or, if the context requires the full official name, the "Republic of Macedonia". Qualifiers may sometimes be used, but only if absolutely necessary in a specific situation. The specific term "former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia" may be used very sparingly, and only "in contexts where the Yugoslavian past of the area or the political events surrounding the breakup of Yugoslavia are the most salient anchor point for disambiguation". The abbreviation "FYROM" should '''''never''''' be used — and although it is not explicitly mentioned, the use of the city name "Skopje" to refer to the entire country is also not approved.

You may not agree with ], but you '''''must''''' follow what it says if you intend to keep working on Misplaced Pages. Repeated or flagrant violations are likely to result in a ], meaning you would not be able to continue editing Misplaced Pages at all.

In order to make absolutely sure no one can question whether you have been properly warned about this matter, I am including a standard scripted warning below. Again, this issue is taken very, very seriously here, and edit-warring on the subject will definitely not be tolerated.
