The Fairfield Metro-North Railroad station serves the residents of Fairfield, Connecticut, including students of Fairfield University — as well as nearby areas such as Black Rock within the city of Bridgeport — via the New Haven Line. The station is the transfer point for the Fairfield University Shuttle.

It is 50.5 miles from Grand Central Terminal, and the average travel time is one hour, 14 minutes.
