Resources
Hi Kcmastrpc, these resources might be helpful for understanding Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines:
- Help:Introduction to policies and guidelines/1, part of our Introduction to Misplaced Pages tutorial, gives a brief summary of Misplaced Pages's most important content and conduct rules.
- The simplified ruleset (WP:SR) is more comprehensive than the tutorial overview, and lists the twenty most important considerations for editing Misplaced Pages.
- The plain and simple conflict of interest guide (WP:PSCOI) provides the most widely accepted approach to editing topics for which you have a conflict of interest. Most of the advice here applies to articles that have already been published (i.e. articles that are not drafts).
Finally, the Teahouse is an excellent resource if you have any questions about editing Misplaced Pages. The hosts there are very friendly and can provide lots of useful advice. Welcome to Misplaced Pages! — Newslinger talk 22:25, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: Traefik (July 16)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Eternal Shadow was: I originally accepted this, under my previous username RedRiver660, but I was inexperienced at the time and realized my mistake after an AfD. This draft is not notable and fails WP:GNG. It sounds less promotional now but has few reliable sources to prove notability. I know that my position in this whole mess is much different then other AfC reviewers, taking the position of a pariah in this situation so I recommend fixing it up and letting AfC reviewers help improve this draft (probably the only way it will make it to article space.) Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Traefik and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you now believe the draft cannot meet Misplaced Pages's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Please go to Draft:Traefik, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{Db-g7}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.
- If you do not make any further changes to your draft, in 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Misplaced Pages's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
Your draft article, Draft:Traefik
Hello, Kcmastrpc. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Traefik".

If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Misplaced Pages, and happy editing. Liz 18:05, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: Traefik (May 4)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Hellknowz was: This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Misplaced Pages article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Misplaced Pages. The comment the reviewer left was: You have not made any changes to the draft's sourcing. Article was already deleted at AfD in this state, so to be accepted it would require new sources to satisfy WP:GNG. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer.
Your submission at Articles for creation: Traefik (January 7)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Timtrent were: Your references are a cause for concern. Github may only be used to verify indisputable facts. Interviews without no or almost no editorial commentary are primary sources. a random reference I checked fails to verify the fact you suggest it referencesThis draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Misplaced Pages article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:- in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject)
- reliable
- secondary
- independent of the subject

Minor edit tag
Kcmastrpc, I just wanted to make a comment about the "minor" tag you used with this edit . While I think this is a good edit, it doesn't fit the criteria associated with the minor edit tag WP:ME. Just a heads up and sorry to bother you! Springee (talk) 16:26, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up, I don't remember clicking that button but your feedback makes complete sense. Kcmastrpc (talk) 16:35, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently been editing gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Misplaced Pages’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Misplaced Pages administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Misplaced Pages;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
You have recently made edits related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. This is a standard message to inform you that articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Misplaced Pages:Contentious topics.
