Mozart
In the RfC, can you please say what kind(s) of infobox? See the discussion for Carl Nielsen, and the discussion about minimal infoboxes on Classical music. Do we really have to make people run into each other three places? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:06, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, no, I think it's better to just have a very brief, very neutral "Should the article Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart have an infobox?" RFC question. Feel free of course to make a comment in the RFC suggesting a specific infobox or linking to any other discussions you think are relevant. Levivich (talk) 21:26, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Understand. Did you see the other two discussions, before or now? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:34, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- I hadn't seen them before but I did see them now. For my part, I don't really care about all composers, I just care about the big ones like Mozart. Levivich (talk) 21:38, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) to clarify: I don't need more questions about my agenda, when I have tried tried tried to avoid the topic for about seven years, so better don't say a word - see also 2015.
- (after edit conflict) For my part, it's the opposite, see 2021. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:52, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Have you seen Mozart? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:23, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- Haha, no I had not, thanks for letting me know. If I had a nickel for every time someone here called me a Nazi, I'd have to declare myself a paid editor. Levivich (talk) 14:55, 12 March 2023 (UTC)

my story today |
- I am less concerned about someone calling you a Nazi but - further up in that thread - that a whole side of users to an RfC was compared to the Wehrmacht, a military organization, saying - my understanding - that the "invasion" of another article by an RfC is organised warfare. It discredits all who came, as not coming freely and independently. The myth that I'm behind all this seems not to die. I think that an RfC should be published neutrally to all projects involded, - no idea if by a bot or a person. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:07, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- I'm actually most concerned by someone insisting the Wehrmacht weren't Nazis. Levivich (talk) 15:09, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- It's the same kind of going for myths, do you see that? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:08, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- I'm watching Mozart, still determined to not get burned there, and see that you pinged (2nd list) Jerome Kohl who died, and have Davey twice. - I also watch the CM Mozart, thanks for investigating, but I can't help find Russian military presently an even greater provocation than German. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:11, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- I did not ping in the 2nd list, that was someone else. :-) Levivich (talk) 19:25, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for support, - flowers further up to not interfere with arbcom. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:53, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

- sharing impressions from vacation on Madeira 20-30 March, pics now at 24 Mar from the peaks - the RfC (with a non-neutral invitation to fight) was closed, and went rather peacefully - what can we learn from it? - I saw today that Brian Boulton added an infobox to Imogen Holst in 2014, edit summary "risk" - should it still be a risk in 2023 to follow his example? - after having been lectured about how inflammatory an infobox for an opera can be, I reduced Mozart's a bit, for more focus on his work. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:23, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

today we remember the 150th birthday of Max Reger, who saw the horrors of a world war right when it began in 1914, while others were still in high patriotic moods - talking about our smaller "war" here: see the talk where I - as the principal editor - had to defend my choice of an infobox, while the typical argument is that the principal editors decide, - well, I managed, a first at the time! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:54, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

- I loved to see Marian Anderson and her story of protest against discrimination by singing on Easter Sunday 9 April 1939 on the Main page o Easter Sunday 9 April. - I wish you resilience. Mozart - initiated by you - seemed a great step forward to normal editing instead of "contentious topic" disputes. Miss you. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:49, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- My story today, Messiah (Handel), was my first dip into the FA ocean, thanks to great colleagues. - a few pics added, one day missing --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:11, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Shoot me an email
If you'd like to discuss the topic ban and my reasoning. I suggest email as the discussion could easily veer into an iban violation, and since the discussion wouldn't actually be exempt as it's not covering the limits of the ban or an appeal I wouldn't want to make the situation shittier than it already is. - This was one of the most unfair and uneven sanctions that I’ve ever seen. I am still in disbelief you applied and defended it. Lev, I’m sorry to see that you’ve chosen to retire, but let me wish you the best. Mr Ernie (talk) 00:24, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
Retired
I just saw this . I'm not going to tell you what to do with your life so I'm not going to try to convince you to stay if that's not what you want. I just want you to know that you can email me (I don't think you've ever done so before but the offer is open) if you ever want to talk about non-Misplaced Pages things. I've always valued seeing you around and I'd prefer not to lose that if possible. I could send you amazing nature photographs. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 15:57, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- Let me echo that. I'm always impressed by your insights at whatever page you're editing. Hope you come back after a break enjoying the non-Misplaced Pages parts of life. Email is open too (and if not Misplaced Pages, I can offer pictures of birds) —Femke 🐦 (talk) 19:40, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- Nobody has given you your well-deserved ⌚ yet. It looks simple with its nutria-skin watchband, but in fact it's very modern. It keeps track of your heart-rate, plays a lovely reminder for you at tea-time and a far cheerier one at happy hour. It even counts all your (mis)steps for you! (I'm up to nearly 10,000 of those a day.) -- SashiRolls 03:24, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- Levivich, I learned from Wikipediocracy that we've apparently lost you. I can't say I've always agreed with you, but I've often been impressed by your insights and your persuasiveness. You've done a lot of good here; thank you, and I'm sorry to see you go. Yngvadottir (talk) 11:11, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

GizzyCatBella / Jacurek slant and collaboration with other editors
This first talk edit by Jacurek tell you all you need to know about this person. This antisemitic rant invokes a the well known Judeopolonia antisemitic canard.
After Jacurek got into hot water over his editing of Jewish topics, with his bias crystal clear, Piotrus came in with a welcome and a barnstar.
However, this is not all. From the WikiLeaks entry Wikipediametric mailinglist: alleged cabal tactics and stalking of editors, 2009, which spurned the WP:EEML case, one can see the message post titled 20090604-1924- New Polish cabal members_ Jacurek and Tymek.eml in this message we see Piotrus suggesting Jacurek as a possible member, and Volunteer Marek endorsing them for membership as well as stating they were in frequent e-mail contact with them.
Now to sockpuppet GizzyCatBella. This account edited Smolensk air disaster back in 2015 for a while. It then sat on a shelf for a couple of years.
GizzyCatBella was activated again in Feburary 2018. When? When Pioturs and Volunteer Marek were engaged in disputes on antisemitism in Poland.
The degree of support between GizzyCatBella and Piotrus as well as GizzyCatBella and Volunteer Marek is massive. This is not a coincidence. This includes jumping into articles and disputes on call.
