Welcome
Welcome!
Hello, Jibal, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Misplaced Pages
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! IZAK 05:49, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Arminius?
Your edits have the trademark of User:Arminius. Netscott 07:02, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Since I am not Arminius and had never heard of Arminius, you are clearly wrong that my edits have the trademark of Arminius. A halfway intelligent and decent human being might have said that some of my edits seem to resemble those of Arminius, and politely asked if I am Arminius, instead of just blabbling out an assertion. -- Jibal 22:17, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
News-Press Controversy
I entered section headings in the Santa Barbara News-Press controversy article. snug 02:50, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

- Yes, I get it. You're too cool to refactor, and too important to place them properly the first time. Point made. ThuranX 02:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Requests for me to change how I live my life are not welcome. -- Jibal 03:17, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Also, please stop factoring your replies to interpose into other threads. Keep the conversation flowing properly. Thank you. Please go back and properly refactor your inserted comments. ThuranX 02:40, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't interpose into other threads, I merely added my responses above other responses to the same comments. If that's against policy, I'm not aware of it. -- Jibal 03:50, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- No, that WAS a friendly suggestion. You should read Misplaced Pages's Assume Good Faith policies. You made 17 comment to that one AN/I thread, each more aggressive and hostile to those on the 'other side' of the discussion from you. You escalated to misfactored comments as your comments got more intense, and after being asked to self-edit and refactor, your next comment was also misfactored, thought that might be a simple case of our edits crossing each other, though the 20 minute gap is unusual. When called on this matter, you removed my reply, which while sarcastic, was not a personal attack. Finally, your reply on my talk shows that you are in fact irate about this. Finally, you forgot to sign your comment. Thank you for listening, please read the policies. ThuranX 03:18, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Talking about me being "too cool" and "too important" was a personal attack, as are these comments, which I will be removing shortly. -- Jibal 03:20, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

I suggest you take a break from your editting of Misplaced Pages. All I did was kindly ask that you stop exacerbating the situation at hand, which you obviously did not heed at a simple kind request. Any further disruption from this account will result in a block from editting.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 03:54, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
