The Globe Soccer Awards are unofficial soccer awards organized by businessman Tommasso Bendoni, CEO of Globe Soccer and the European Association of Player's Agents (EFAA) and delivered by the organisation Globe Soccer. The award ceremony is held in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, which brings together the main representatives of the world of football (FIFA, UEFA), the League of the United Arab Emirates, major world clubs and their managers, encouraging an exchange of views on the world of football as a major goal, alongside transfer-related issues and the football market.Currently the majority shareholder of these unofficial soccer awards is the businessman Riccardo Silva.
It began as a private gala dinner in 2010 with three lifetime achievement awards designated by the organizers. It was born with the idea of holding a gala dinner with the best footballers and agents as part of the Dubai International Sports Conferences organized by the Dubai Sports Council since 2006, and it was so well received that they decided to repeat it the following year. The first meeting was held in 2009, but the first prizes were not awarded until 2010, with three being awarded. In 2011 the number of awards and categories was increased, reaching up to six.
