Tom Bellamy

Tom Bellamy is (even more sexy now that i'm aware he is Welsh)the multi-instrumentalist responsible for guitar, bass, synthesizer, keyboard, trumpet, programming, samples, melodica, percussion, toy piano, bow, decks, FX/beats, vocals & lyrics in the band The Cooper Temple Clause. He is also a keen DJ and has remixed several songs by The Cooper Temple Clause as part of his side project, Rhysmix.

He wrote the lyrics to ‘Talking To A Brick Wall’, ‘Into My Arms’ and ‘In Your Prime’ for their 2003 album Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose.

Prior to the release of 2007's Make This Your Own, songs featuring Bellamy on lead vocals tended to be b-sides; however the band's third album saw an increase in the number of album tracks he sang lead vocals on. He takes the role of lead vocals in the following songs;

  • 'Connect'
  • 'For The Last Time'
  • 'House of Cards'
  • 'I Want You To Think I Could Be'
  • 'Into My Arms'
  • 'Isn't It Strange'
  • 'My Darling (Nasty Angel)'
  • 'Not Quite Enough'
  • 'Once More With Feeling'
  • 'One Quick Fix'
  • 'Pins and Needles'
  • 'Screwdriver Song'
  • 'The Clan'
  • 'U93'
  • 'In Your Prime'

Additionally, Bellamy shares lead vocals with Ben Gautrey in the songs ‘All I See Is You’ and 'Let's Kill Music', and with Daniel Fisher on 'Last Line Of Defence'.
