It is the thrid asterroid discovered before impacting Earth Hungarian astronomer Krisztián Sárneczky at Konkoly Observatory's Piszkéstető Station in the Mátra Mountains, Hungary. 2024 BX1 is the eighth asteroid discovered before impacting Earth and successfully predicted,.
