Brandon Flowers (born June 21 1981) is the vocalist and keyboardist in the American rock band The Killers. He was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada but moved to and was raised in Nephi, Utah, a predominantly Latter-day Saint ("Mormon") town, when he was eight. He later returned to Las Vegas.

Brandon Flowers started college and after his first class he was in his car driving around, then a song came on the radio, it was 'Changes' by David Bowie. At first he thought it was Bob Dylan. He fell in love with the song and realised he wanted to make music and going to college wouldn't help that. He went to his next class but walked out half way through. He went on to be on to be in a band known as Blush Response. The band later abandoned him when he refused to move with the rest of them to Los Angeles, California. One day went to the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas and one his way in was handed a free ticket to a concert that was almost finished. It was an Oasis concert, he heard the crowd singing along to 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and realised that's what he wanted. Before that concert he hadn't realised how important guitars were. After that, he responded to an ad in the Las Vegas Weekly by future guitarist David Keuning who was looking for a vocalist in order to form a band.

Mark Stoermer later became the bassist and Ronnie Vannucci became the drummer.

He currently has a fiancée named Tana Munbkowsky. Like Flowers, she is a 23-year-old and a Mormon. She is an Urban Outfitters manager/CCSN student/occasional CityLife model.

He has an interest in the word "Aria" and the word "Basket Case". His favorite bands are Morrissey and Psychedelic Furs. He wishes to put "Aria" in a song one day. He first wants to meet someone named Aria before writing the song.
