American singer Beyoncé announced her upcoming untitled eighth studio album on February 11, 2024. Following a teaser in a Verizon commercial aired during Super Bowl LVIII that starred the singer and actor Tony Hale, Beyoncé announced via social media that the album is scheduled to be released on March 29, 2024. Labeled "Act II", it is the second part of a trilogy of projects conceived during the COVID–19 pandemic that began with 2022's Renaissance. The album is reported to be country-themed.
