Larisa Pavlovna Borushenko-Moro (Ukrainian: Larisa Pavlivna Borushenko-Moro, born June 18, 1944 or about 1940, Katowice, Katowice Povet or Barysh, Tarnopol region) is a Ukrainian pianist in the diaspora. Daughter of Pavel Borushenko, sister of Oksana Borushenko. Prize winner at the National Piano Competition (Bahia, Brazil, 1966). Lives in Brazil.

Biography

Father - Pavel Borushenko, a native of the town of Barysh, now a village in the Chortkiv district of the Ternopil region, Ukraine.

In 1964 she graduated from the Library Science Studio of the University of Parana and at the same time from the Parana School of Music and Fine Arts (Curitiba, Brazil; 1965, Rev. R. Frank). She improved her skills in the USA and Austria. She studied at the courses of A. Estrella, D. A. Lasimon, J. Klein, G. Olimondo.

Since 1969 - assistant professor of music at the conservatory in Velos Artes (Parana state).

Participant in competitions in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro. Soloist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Federal University of Parana, Orchestra Antiqua de Curitiba.

She gave solo concerts in cities in Brazil (since 1964), USA (since 1968), Canada (since 1987), Germany (since 1993), Ukraine (since 1994). Performs works by E. Villa-Lobos, E. Krieger, E. Nazareth, B. Bartok, S. Prokofiev, V. Barvinsky, N. Lysenko, A. Kos-Anatolsky, M. Kolessa, J.-S. Bach, F. Chopin, J. Haydno. Borushenko's playing is characterized by a sonorous, emphatically convex presentation, bright accentuation, and an optimistic sound.
