Mohammad Reza Zahedi (Template:Lang-fa; 1944 – 1 April 2024) was an Iranian senior military officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He previously commanded its Air Force and Ground Force and was one of the top commanders of the Quds Force at the time of his death. He was killed by an Israeli airstrike in the Syrian capital Damascus during the Israel–Hamas war.

Death

On 1 April 2024, Zahedi was killed by an Israeli airstrike near the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital Damascus. At least five others were reported dead in the airstrike.
