The Sunar (སུའུ་ནར་ཨར།; Devanagari: सुनार; Sunär), are a Tibeto-Burman ethnic group of Nepal, Southern Bhutan and North India.

Swarnkar (alternately, Sunar or Sonar) is a Kshatriya caste in india . They are Suryavanshi and chandravanshi rajputs.
