Sommer Ray was born on September 15, 1996, in Colorado.
Ray's first coach in bodybuilding was her father. She dropped out of high school due to bullying.
Career
Bodybuilding and fitness
Ray, an American bikini bodybuilder, began her competitive career at the age of 16. She achieved notable success in the 2015 National Physique Committee (NPC) Colorado State Championships, securing first place in both the teenage category and class D. Despite her early achievements, Ray ceased competing after turning 18. She attributed her withdrawal from the sport to the widespread use of performance-enhancing substances within the fitness industry. Ray has been an outspoken critic against the use of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in bodybuilding.
