Ghazzeh (Template:Lang-ar), is a village located in the Western Beqaa District of the Beqaa Governorate in Lebanon.

The Town is considered as medium-sized village.


The town has over 22,000 of Syrian refugees who came for work and it has over 7,000 Lebanese , it is known for their immigrated people to South America , “Argentina” , “Brazil” , And most known “Venezuela” , the people of the town obtained the citizenship of Latin countries.







The Town of Ghazzeh, has faced an Israeli strike at Thursday’s morning 6:40AM which killed an hezbollah Allied leader .

History

In 1838, Eli Smith noted it as 'Azzeh; a village on the West side of the Beqaa Valley, listed before Bab Mareaa.
