During July, 1987, the ] was positioned at critical positions, seeing an opportunity the Pakistani Army achieved success by seizing the control of the Bilafond La, which was named as the Quaid post.The ] held Quaid post overlooked the areas of Bilafond La which offered the ] an advantage.
