The 2024 planned presidential transition of Donald Trump is an effort to prepare for the possibility that he is elected President.
The effort started in August 2024, which is considered unusually late as most transition efforts start in the late spring. Trump's 2016 presidential transition set a 'low bar' for modern transitions according to Max Stier, followed by George H. W. Bush.
