Tim Hughes is a Christian worship leader and songwriter with Survivor Records, who is currently Director of Worship at Holy Trinity Brompton, a vibrant Anglican church in central London and heads up Worship Central, a new worship training resource. The son of an Anglican vicar, Hughes grew up in Birmingham and studied History at Sheffield University.
Prior to his current post, Hughes worked at Soul Survivor Watford Church, where he was Worship Pastor (the current Worship Pastor is Ben Cantelon). He moved to Holy Trinity Brompton in 2005 and, with Associate Director of Worship Al Gordon, has set up the Worship Central project.
Recording career
Tim Hughes has recorded and released three albums: Here I Am to Worship in 2001, When Silence Falls in 2004 and Holding Nothing Back in 2007. His Dove Award-winning song "Here I Am to Worship" has become a world-renowned worship song for the church. Other well known tracks of his include "Jesus, You Alone"; "Consuming Fire"; and "Whole World in His Hands". Holding Nothing Back, his third album, was released on April 3rd, 2007, and includes songs like "The Highest and the Greatest", "God of Justice", and "Everything".

Other
Hughes released his first book, Passion For Your Name in 2003, in which he gives his advice on many issues, including worship leading and songwriting.
