Good afternoon, | |||
I have partially reverted your last edit on the ]. It's not that I didn't agree with your edits, but there were some prior discussions which had resulted in the text as it was and which I think you missed. The key reasons for editing the text are:
1. Mossad is already described/linked in opening of lede, so doesn't need this again in same section. WP says to link the first time a topic is mentioned in a section and not again. The image and infobox makes it look like this is in a new section, but it's not.
2. As per a couple of edits before yours, an editor pointed out that we should reinstate the ] that Hezbollah wasn't aware of the attacks beforehand. Personally, I think it's not needed, but that editor was right in that we should assume people coming into the subject have no prior knowledge. So I have reinstated that text because it had consensus.
3. The lede should reflect the whole article, including the Legality and Reactions sections. In those sections, the judgment that the attacks constitute "war crimes" is very common and the accusations of "terrorism" are no longer ] (note that spokespersons from the UN, EU, Belgium, CIA and Lemkin Institute have all made such statements now). That portion of the text also had prior consensus over multiple edits, which means people were happy with it.*
However, this is a fast-changing situation and the consensus might be changing with it, so if you'd like to discuss any of these issues on the talk page, I'd be happy to join you in trying to establish a new consensus. Please give me a ping if you do.

Non-free rationale for File:Byblos Bank logo.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Byblos Bank logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 12:57, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- can you help me? This is the logo of a commercial company, I saw that it is possible to use the company's article. EnfantDeLaVille (talk) 14:00, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- Add a rationale by adding {{Non-free use rationale logo}} in the file's section named "summary". TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 15:21, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- I instead added a rationale to the image. TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 15:24, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
File source problem with File:مصرف البحر المتوسط.png
Thank you for uploading File:مصرف البحر المتوسط.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Misplaced Pages. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Federal Bank of Lebanon moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Federal Bank of Lebanon. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

- @Vanderwaalforces It's ridiculous. There is not much information on the web about this village. But it exists!!!! and it should be as a article!!!. Look at the French Misplaced Pages and the Arabic Misplaced Pages.EnfantDeLaVille (talk) 08:00, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Vanderwaalforces I added Google Maps as a source. In order to prove that such a village exists in reality. But this step doesn't seem right to me=EnfantDeLaVille (talk) 08:06, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- @EnfantDeLaVille let me jump in the conversation. I saw you used libandata.org for your newly created page Bqennaya, I would suggest using this source here as well. Google maps is not considered a reliable source. Broc (talk) 13:05, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Bauchrieh (April 4)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Dan arndt was: This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Misplaced Pages article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:- in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject)
- reliable
- secondary
- independent of the subject
- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Bauchrieh and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Misplaced Pages's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
Hello, EnfantDeLaVille! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. Dahr el Sawan moved to draftspace

Jazireh (Lebanon) moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Jazireh (Lebanon). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and the sources used link to "Al-Zira", unclear if it's the same as "Jazireh". I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Flagging partial reversion — happy to discuss
Good afternoon,
I have partially reverted your last edit on the 2024 Lebanon pager explosions.
2. As per a couple of edits before yours, an editor pointed out that we should reinstate the WP:OBVIOUS that Hezbollah wasn't aware of the attacks beforehand. Personally, I think it's not needed, but that editor was right in that we should assume people coming into the subject have no prior knowledge. So I have reinstated that text because it had consensus.
3. The lede should reflect the whole article, including the Legality and Reactions sections. In those sections, the judgment that the attacks constitute "war crimes" is very common and the accusations of "terrorism" are no longer WP:FRINGE (note that spokespersons from the UN, EU, Belgium, CIA and Lemkin Institute have all made such statements now).
*As well as via direct discussion, consensus can be built over sequential edits. So, if multiple people tweak a sentence and then ultimately arrive at a version that doesn't get changed for a while, then that sentence is presumed to have consensus.
