The WWE Women's United States Championship is a professional wrestling championship promoted by the American promotion WWE. It will be a secondary women's championship on WWE's main roster. The title was announced during the November 8, 2024, episode of SmackDown.

History

The American professional wrestling promotion WWE was founded in April 1963, but it never had a secondary women's championship until the NXT Women's North American Championship was introduced for the developmental brand NXT in April 2024. Subsequently, during SmackDown on November 8, 2024, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis unveiled the WWE Women's United States Championship to be a secondary championship for the women's division on the main roster.
