Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages.
When editing Misplaced Pages, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Guntur district does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Misplaced Pages account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Please bear these points in mind while editing Misplaced Pages:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Misplaced Pages's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Misplaced Pages page and follow Misplaced Pages's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Misplaced Pages is not a forum.
The Misplaced Pages tutorial is a good place to start learning about Misplaced Pages. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of cities in Andhra Pradesh by population, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:26, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. El_C 05:30, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
Tenali–Macherla section moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Tenali–Macherla section, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Misplaced Pages). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Misplaced Pages's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – Thjarkur (talk) 11:46, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
February 2020
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Andhra Pradesh, you may be blocked from editing. - Arjayay (talk) 18:47, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
Username
Welcome to Misplaced Pages. I noticed that your username, "Rohit Webscrap", may not meet Misplaced Pages's username policy because Webscrap is potentially offensive as it could be construed to mean "web is crap" and, as it is apparent from your contributions that you are interested in Rohit Sharma, your username could potentially raise a WP:BLP issue. Please follow directions in the template and see if you can arrange for a change of username. Bearing in mind that your talk page already carries several cautions and warnings, you may be blocked from editing if you continue to contravene site policies. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Your draft article, Draft:Tenali–Macherla section
Hello, Rohit Webscrap. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Tenali–Macherla section".
In accordance with our policy that Misplaced Pages is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Misplaced Pages! UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:44, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Misplaced Pages’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Misplaced Pages administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Misplaced Pages;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
