Next Syrian presidential election

← 2021 TBA

Incumbent President

Abu Mohammad al-Julani (de facto)
Syrian Transitional Government

The next presidential elections in Syria are expected to take place before March 1, 2025, since Mohammed al-Bashir's transitional government will remain in effect until March 1, 2025. This will be the first presidential election since the fall of the Ba'athist regime. However, earlier the opposition leader Hadi al-Bahra said the transition period should last about 18 months, which will occur in June 2026.
