Camponotus castanicola is an ant in the genus Camponotus native to the Philippines.

Appearance

It has a thorny spurred red three part abdomen joiner with the bottom turning to a black abdomen. the legs are striped red and lined at the bottoms.

Records

There are multiple pinned specimens on the internet.

The only confirmed live records are taken via 5 iNaturalist observations by Mark Bulahao.
