Timothy J. O’Malley (born December 17, 1959) is an American priest of the Catholic Church who was appointed as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2024.
Biography
On May 24, 1997, O’Malley was ordained to the priesthood.
Episcopal career
Pope Francis appointed O’Malley auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago, assigning him the titular see of Numida on December 20, 2024. On a date TBD in early 2025, O’Malley is scheduled to be consecrated as a bishop.
