Major Prince Jose was an officer in the Indian Army known for his actions during the Kargil War in 1999. He was inspired to join the army by his mentor, Captain Paul Bastine, a Para Commando in the 9 Para (Special Forces) unit. Major Prince Jose is a retired officer of the Indian Army known for his actions during the Kargil War in 1999 and Counter-Insurgency operations in Kashmir. He was awarded the Sena Medal (SM) for gallantry, recognizing his bravery in an Operation Named after him called Operation Prince.
